The Holy Bible tells us about deliverance from demons. Demons (evil spirits) are real, and all believers in Christ have the authority to cast out demons, according to:

Mark 16:17 - And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues.

Luke 10:19 - Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The Bible tells us that our war is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, and that we are to put on the full armour of God, according to:

Eph 6:10-17 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

STEPS TO DELIVERANCE:

1. WE MUST BE SAVED (Stating our faith in Jesus Christ, his crucifixion and resurrection, in prayer) and repent (Confession and renunciation of our sins to God).

DELIVERANCE PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ I believe you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I am redeemed, sanctified and justified by your precious blood and your perfect sacrifice has cleansed me from all my sins.
Please fill my life with the Holy Spirit, come into my life and help me to stop sinning.
I come to you now, as my deliverer. I claim the promise of your word in Acts 2:21,
"And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

I confess and renounce all my sins, past and present, known and unknown, (example: unforgiveness, selfishness etc).

In Jesus Name, I forgive everyone who has ever hurt me. I forgive (names of relatives and/or others may be included here). I bless, love and pray for them.

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to you, my Lord Jesus Christ, according to Matt 28:18.

I claim the promise of your word, in Mark 16:17, "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons," and we thank you for giving us all power and authority over all demons.

I cover everyone seeking deliverance in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
I cover my body, mind, soul and spirit in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
I cover my home in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.

I thank you Jesus, for deliverance from demons and demonic attacks.

I declare that all demons have no legal grounds to operate in my life and I bind and cast out all demons, right now, in Jesus Name!

2. FORGIVENESS (regardless of the offence) as well as blessing, praying & having brotherly love for our enemies is crucial to a successful deliverance.
One cannot proceed with deliverance unless there is forgiveness from the heart, for everyone who has ever hurt or offended us in any way whatsoever.

Matt 6:14 - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Blessings have a boomerang effect, thereby returning to the sender.
Witchcraft and slander (spreading false and damaging information about others), also work on a sowing and reaping principle, thereby returning to the sender.
There is grave danger for anyone who curses or prays against a servant of God.
It has no effect on a Child of God and automatically returns to the sender because
again it operates on a sowing and reaping principle.
Although we never associate with enemies, we are also never to harbor negative feelings and emotions such as anger, hatred or bitterness, in our hearts, towards other people as this can bring other more evil spirits and attach themselves to a person.

Gal 6:7 - Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

Matt 5:44 - But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

Demons operate in a hate environment. God is love and where there is brotherly love, demons flee and they have no legal grounds to operate:

James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We are never to judge other people and Christians, are in the process of being perfected by God.
God's standards and judgment is different to human standards and judgment.

Luke 6:36-38 - Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

Although, we are to rebuke sinners and expose evil.

Luke 17:3 - So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him."

Eph 5:11 - Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

3. CASTING OUT DEMONS should be on a daily basis to protect against any spiritual demonic attacks on the body, mind, soul and physical demonic attacks on the house, car or other objects.

WE ALWAYS BIND FIRST AND THEN COMMAND ALL DEMONS TO LEAVE IN JESUS NAME.

I bind and command all demons to come out of our bodies, will, minds, emotions and personality, in Jesus Name.
I bind and command all demons to leave our homes, in Jesus Name.
I bind and command all demons that were sent to us, transferred to us, or followed us, to leave us now in Jesus Name.

4. WE COMMIT OURSELVES AND OUR ENTIRE LIVES TOTALLY TO GOD AND ALLOW CHRIST TO LIVE IN US.
We also fill our lives with the NINE FRUITS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:

Gal 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

* LOVE
* JOY
* PEACE
* PATIENCE
* KINDNESS
* GOODNESS
* FAITHFULNESS
* HUMILITY
* SELF-CONTROL

The reason we must fill our bodies with the fruits of the Holy Spirit, is that, once we
have cast out the demons, the body is empty, and if we don't fill it with the fruits, other more wicked spirits start to dwell in the body, and the person's condition is worse than prior to deliverance, as we read in scripture:

Matt 12:43 - When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

When we pray to God, he will show us the sins and weaknesses in our lives.
He will help us in those areas and we must do our part as Christians.

5. PRAISE AND WORSHIP MUSIC, PRAYER AND FASTING are powerful spiritual weapons against satan and his demons.

NOTE: NEVER GIVE UP WITH THE SPIRITUAL WEAPONS OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP, PRAYER AND FASTING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! OUR VICTORY WITH JESUS IS GUARANTEED!
